Considering a Heat Pump?

A ground source heat pump has many benefits and installing one could save you money as well as reduce your carbon footprint.

In a commercial setting, managing temperature is important to ensure the comfort of staff and customers. It can also have an impact on stock or goods, depending on your business type. However, regular, electric heating can be extremely costly to run and isn’t particularly energy efficient.

The same applies to the home. Ground source heating could allow you to save up to 75% of your fuel bill. Installation is fast and non-invasive, replacing your existing boiler and only needing an annual service. There is even a government scheme in place, the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), that will cover a fraction of the initial investment of this renewable energy source.

Before making this decision, it is important to understand how a ground source heat pump works and the effect it could have on your home or business. To help you make your decision, join a local ‘Heat Pump Awareness’ Zoom session at 7pm on Wednesday 24th March where all members of the public are invited to find out more about whether a heat pump is the right choice of heating for your home or building.

Hosted by Andrea Ellison, director of the national Ground Source Heat Pump Association, Dave Jones of Hafod Renewables, Denbigh and Geoff Ellison of Dragon Drilling, Corwen will be available to answer all questions you may have regarding heat pumps.
