Dragon Drilling Attends Grand Designs at the NEC
Between Wednesday October 9th and Sunday October 13th 2019, Dragon Drilling attended Grand Designs Live at the Birmingham NEC.
Grand Designs Live is one of the biggest home improvement events of the year, offering a great opportunity to homeowners, property developers and businesses alike. For those in the process of a development, it provides the chance to see innovative new products and solutions for your home. You’re able to talk to experts and find hundreds of new ideas for a development. For businesses like us, it’s a great chance to meet our customers face to face and understand what are customers are looking for in a new development. There’s a focus on eco-friendly solutions at Grand Designs Live that fits perfectly with the ethos at Dragon Drilling. Our focus this year was Ground Source Heating, as we know that it’s becoming an increasingly popular solution in housing developments.
Our team makes sure to fill their calendar with exciting events, such as Grand Designs Live, to keep our team up to date with everything that we should be doing to continue to provide exceptional service. Commercial Manager, Seb Brown, explains:
‘As the ground source heating industry grows in the UK it is critical that we remain at the forefront of the industry. As the largest environmental drilling company in the UK we are equipped to deal with the demand and meet our customer expectations. We are currently involved in large scale commercial projects throughout the country and with the government commitment to become carbon neutral by 2050 this industry is only going to expand further. The legislation banning gas boilers from new build homes by 2025 means housing developers are seeking alternative methods of renewable heating and our fleet and experience makes us ideally suited to aid this change’.
Geoff, Andrea and Seb met with several hundred potential customers during the 5 day event, with many questions answered and enquiries taken. We’re excited to continue the conversations in the days to come and begin many more on their journey towards a cost-effective, sustainable heat source.
